Marisa Mitchell
Marisa Mitchell is a bookwriter who takes joy in tackling weighty social themes with a healthy dose of comedy. She is based in San Francisco, California, the epicenter of the hubris of artificial intelligence. Highlights of work include How to Succeed in Business with a Vagina, a raucous feminist comedic musical about tech culture (staged reading with MusicalWriters.com, Dallas, 2026), 350 parts per million, a coming-of-age comedic musical about hope in the face of the climate crisis (Gateway Theater, 2024; Finalist, Musical Writers Pitch Competition, 2022), The Hive, a musical about a cult facing an existential threat (Broadwater Theatre, 2025), The Fermi Paradox (Winner, Playhouse Creatures Fight Forward Festival, 2023). Nicky Phillips
Nicky Phillips is an award-winning composer. She is an alumna of the BMI Lehman Engel Advanced Musical Theatre Workshop where she was awarded the Jean Banks Award for outstanding achievement in Musical Theatre. Nicky is honored to have been mentored by Lin-Manuel Miranda and Craig Carnelia at the Johnny Mercer Songwriting Project. Her work has been showcased at Lincoln Center, 54 Below, Don’t Tell Mama, The Laurie Beechman Theatre and The New York Theatre Barn. Nicky is the co-writer of a new musical theatre songbook entitled The Tweens ’N Teens Songbook, New Musical Theatre Songs for the Young (ish) Performer, written with collaborator Sarah Ziegler. Selected musicals include Rey of Light written with Jen Cohen (ASCAP/Stephen Schwartz Workshop, Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals); The Last Party written with Steven Gallagher (NAMT Recommended, National Music Theater Conference O’Neill Theater Center Semi Finalistl); In Between written with Sarah Ziegler and Steven Gallagher (Loop Festival) and In Flanders Fields written with Robert Gontier (Smile Theatre, Lunchbox Theatre, Betty Mitchell nomination). Alanya Bridge
Alanya is an award-winning musical theatre composer lyricist. Her work has been performed around the world, including the Lincoln Center, Playwrights Downtown, Feinstein’s 54 Below, The Green Room 42, Theatre Royal Stratford East, Tristan Bates Theatre, Leicester Square Theatre and numerous theatres around New York, Australia and London. Alanya is a graduate of the Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program, Tisch School of Arts, New York University and member of the Advanced BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild, Maestra, APRA AMCOS and Mercury Musical Developments. She studied in London at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and is a Licentiate of Trinity College, London. His songs have been heard in notable venues across New York City, including Birdland Jazz Club, 54 Below, the Green Room 42, and off-Broadway at Signature Theatre.
