About This Show

The Resurrection is a powerful new rock opera that reimagines the forty days following the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. The story delves into the intimate human journeys of those left behind, particularly Mary Magdalene and Mary, the Mother of Jesus, as they navigate grief, doubt, and faith. It also explores the disciples’ struggles, including the haunted path of Judas Iscariot as a spirit in limbo. Blending soaring rock anthems, emotional ballads, and dynamic arrangements, the musical offers an authentic contemporary sound while remaining true to the emotional and spiritual core of the biblical narrative. At its heart, The Resurrection is a story of shattered faith rebuilt into unshakeable conviction, confronting conspiracy, loss, and the transformative power of belief. Development began in late 2024. In May 2025, the project advanced significantly through collaboration with Baltimore-based musicians and songwriters Russell Greene and PJ Lee. The Original Concept Album is currently in production in the USA, with casting underway and a planned 2026 release on physical and streaming platforms.
