Dylan is getting married, and Dylan is dying. In the hours leading up to his wedding, Dylan reflects on his life as he desperately tries to write his own eulogy. With the help of his sister, Ruth, and his partner, Trevor, Dylan tries to come to terms with a life cut short. The Last Party is about a couple’s relationship being turned upside down when one of them is diagnosed with brain cancer, and the tension, frustration, hilarity, poignancy and love that ensues.
