About This Show
DanceLand is a dance-centered musical with Book, Music & Lyrics by Tyler Tafolla. The whole show is told through dance with offstage vocals. DanceLand (the place) is about a sci-fi fantasy dream world overpowered by a villainous tyrant and a "Chosen One" who must save her land of make believe before it's too late. DanceLand had its San Diego Premier in 2023 at the City Heights Performance Annex with a cast of professional SoCal based dancers and vocals from artists like Mariah Rose Faith Casillas, Dylan Saunders, Janaya Jones, Bryce Charles and many more.
